01 Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DauinJobs ("the Platform," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, job seekers, employers, and any other users of the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

02 Who Can Use DauinJobs

You may use DauinJobs if:

  • You are at least 15 years old (in compliance with Philippine labor law);
  • You are capable of forming a binding legal agreement; and
  • Your use complies with all applicable Philippine laws and regulations.
Users aged 15–17 may register and apply for jobs permitted under the Labor Code of the Philippines and RA 7610. Hazardous work and night work are prohibited for minors under Philippine law.

03 Accounts & Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
  • You may only create one account per person. Employers may create one account per business entity.
  • Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
  • We reserve the right to refuse registration or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

04 Terms for Job Seekers

As a job seeker, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful information in your profile, including your skills and work experience.
  • Apply only for positions you genuinely intend to pursue.
  • Not submit false applications, fabricate credentials, or misrepresent your qualifications.
  • Communicate professionally and honestly with employers who contact you through the platform.
  • Understand that DauinJobs is a platform only — we do not guarantee employment, wage rates, or working conditions.
Creating a profile and applying to jobs on DauinJobs is always free for job seekers. We will never charge you a fee to apply for a job.

05 Terms for Employers

As an employer, you represent that you are authorized to post jobs on behalf of your business. You agree to:

  • Post only genuine, currently available job openings. Fake or "ghost" listings are strictly prohibited.
  • Provide accurate information about the job including title, location, compensation range, and requirements.
  • Comply with all applicable Philippine labor laws, including the Labor Code, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG obligations.
  • Not require job seekers to pay any recruitment or placement fees. No-fee recruitment is required by law under RA 10022.
  • Contact applicants only for legitimate employment purposes.
  • Not discriminate in hiring on the basis of age, sex, religion, ethnicity, disability, or other protected characteristics under Philippine law.
  • Remove or close job listings promptly once a position is filled.

  • Real, local job openings
  • Part-time, full-time, and contract work
  • Posting multiple jobs
  • Contacting applicants directly
Not Allowed
  • Fake or placeholder listings
  • Charging fees to applicants
  • Collecting personal data beyond hiring
  • Deceptive or exploitative job offers

06 Prohibited Conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on DauinJobs:

  • Posting fraudulent, misleading, or scam job listings
  • Using the platform to recruit for illegal activities, including trafficking, illegal gambling, or drug-related work
  • Collecting applicant information for purposes other than legitimate hiring
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Impersonating another person or business
  • Scraping or harvesting data from the platform without authorization
  • Posting spam, advertisements, or unrelated commercial solicitations
  • Using automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform
  • Attempting to circumvent security measures or access restricted areas
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to appropriate Philippine authorities, including the DOLE, PNP, or NBI.

07 User Content

By posting content on DauinJobs (job listings, profile information, application messages), you:

  • Confirm that the content is accurate and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • Grant DauinJobs a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote your public content on the platform.
  • Understand that publicly visible content (such as job listings) may be indexed by search engines.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without prior notice.

08 Fees & Payments

  • Job seekers: DauinJobs is completely free. No registration fees, no application fees, ever.
  • Employers: Basic job posting is free. Premium or featured listing upgrades may be available for a fee. Fees will be clearly disclosed before payment is required.
  • Paid features are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by Philippine consumer protection laws.

09 Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, liability limitations, and governing law — will continue to apply.

10 Disclaimers

DauinJobs is a job listing platform only. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or recruitment firm. We do not:

  • Guarantee the accuracy, legality, or legitimacy of any job listing
  • Guarantee that any job seeker will find employment
  • Guarantee that any employer will find a suitable candidate
  • Verify the credentials of all job seekers or the legality of all employer operations

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

We encourage all users to exercise caution, do their own due diligence, and report suspicious listings to us at [email protected].

11 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, DauinJobs and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform
  • Loss of employment opportunity, earnings, or business
  • Damages resulting from fraudulent job listings posted by third parties
  • Any disputes between job seekers and employers arising from a hiring relationship

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to DauinJobs in the past 12 months (which may be zero for job seekers).

12 Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes amicably before pursuing legal action.
